Can Someone Answer This Question?

All of you smart people out there, can you answer a question that’s bothering me?

Here it is:

Senator Clinton’s health plan mandates the purchase of health insurance by all American residents. But how will the government know if an individual has not bought health insurance? What record is there that will spotlight some healthy young person who hasn’t been to a doctor or health care facility? Will we be forced – on pain of perjury – to fill out a questionnaire?

And does the plan say how much coverage we must buy? As an old codger, I have Medicare. Must I also buy supplementary coverage? And how much coverage must I carry? Can I choose a plan with a deductible? What maximum coverage must I have?

And what happens to me if I don’t buy the required amount of insurance? Will Hillary put me in jail?
