The 100m for men can be expected to include no less than six participants, not including Usain Bolt, who have gone below 10 seconds this season. They are Asafa Powell, Steve Mullings, Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade. It should also be noted that all of these have personal bests below 9.9s, and the rest of the line-up will have persons bordering on 10s flat.
