“Nearly every man who develops an idea works at it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then gets discouraged. That’s not the place to become discouraged.”
Thomas Edison
I love reading about the life and inventions of Thomas Edison. Not only was he responsible for inventing a great deals of today’s necessities like the like bulb. He was also a man of great failures, but an even greater optimist.
When asked by reporters about his many failures. Edison replied by saying, ” I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
What an optimist.
Would you be willing to fail 10,000 times until you get something right?
So many times we give up on our hopes and dreams because we fail to persevere and remain optimistic. We give up and become discouraged because we think we are not worthy.
We internalize our failures and call ourselves failures.
If you truly believe in what you are creating, you have to be willing to fail your way to success. When you feel like giving up, don’t. It might surprise you to find out that is was out of your failures, lies the solution to were looking for.
You have within you the creative ability to make something out of nothing. Choose to exercise that power today. Stay in the game and don’t quit.
Positive Affirmation: Today I will take a new look at something I had given up on. I will exercise my creative power and make use of it. I will no longer internalize my failures nor call myself a failure any longer.
