As I mentioned in an earlier blog that McCain would take credit for the “bail out/rescue plan”. The spin started right after the debate where many Republicans were saying a deal was set and it because McCain showed leadership and came back to the Hill. Even McCain was taking credit when he was confident the bill would pass…from hero to zero.
