I Thank the Universe

In my walk I saw a path that was
So beautiful yet lonely
And there was so many diverse
Of people in rays of colors that I did
Not know if I would be welcome to
Walk amongst greatness
And so I hesitate, made excuses
Not walking that beautiful yet
Lonely path—so it seems,
For I was without you by my side,
As I saw many soar
And so I spoke to the Universe,
Began to drew strength, breathe in
An exhale, and you fill my ear with
Love, my soul with peace, my heart
With courage, and I began to take
Steps, walk, move and soar with grace
On the path that once seem very lonely,
Unfriendly that was truly meant for me.

About the author

I was born in Jamaica West Indies, immigrated to the United States of America at the tender age of ten. I've had the great privilege as an uprising reggae singer to perform as an open act for several great singers like Dennis Brown, Calypso Rose and others. I also had the great opportunity to meet Dr. Bettye Shabazz and other great leaders. Because of my divine supreme God, he is using giants and various people to help develop the divinity within and allowed me to see the greatness of his love. I consider myself a singer, poet, writer, and a great performer. I am working on strengthening all areas of my gifts.
