I want to love

I want to love and be love without
You and I holding back
Without you thinking I am impossible,
Not worth fighting for.
I want to love without you feeling
I am not as beautiful as the many
You see, dream of.
I want to love without you feeling love
Does not exist.
I want to Love without you fantasizing
Love is only for soap opera dreamers–Stars
I want to love you like there is no one in
The room but you and I.
I want, I wish, to love where love
Does not feel dirty, tainted, unclean,
Wrong—of no meaning, importance.
I want to love and you appreciate, respect,
Every part of me and love me like everyday
Was the first time we set eyes on each other.
I want to love and you love me tenderly—with strength
As our soul dance, heart beats, with rhythm as one,
Until our last breath.
I want to love and you love me with courage
I want to love, be love that the Supreme One
Would be proud of you and I.

About the author

I was born in Jamaica West Indies, immigrated to the United States of America at the tender age of ten. I've had the great privilege as an uprising reggae singer to perform as an open act for various great singers like Dennis Brown, Calypso Rose and others I admired. I also had the great opportunity to meet Dr. Bettye Shabazz and other great leaders. Because of my divine supreme using giants and various people to help develop within and allowed the God consciousness of my mind to see the greatness of his love. I consider myself a wildflower, singer, poet, writer, and a great performer. I am working on strengthening all areas of my gifts.
