FOLLOWING an uneventful 2010 season, national long jump champion Jovanee Jarrett said she is aiming for a personal best and a spot on the national team to this August’s World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.
“Last year was a really slow year for me. I didn’t do much meets so I wasn’t at my best. I jumped once this year and it was a pretty good mark, so I’m looking forward to better things,” the St Jago and Auburn University past student told the Sunday Observer during preparations for yesterday’s JN/Jamaica International Invitational at the National Stadium.
