No Problem, Man

On America’s birthday, storm clouds gather on the horizon.

The Mideast is on fire…

North Korea is threatening to blow up the world… \

Russia’s Putin is scheming to destroy democracy – in America, in Europe, everywhere. – as he seeks to reestablish the Soviet Union.. .

China is jostling menacingly in a determined campaign for global dominance…

In America, the people are ideologically divided. There is no middle ground, just a bitter struggle for control with no holds barred and no end in sight…

On this day, this Jamaican sends my adopted homeland a message from my birth country’s legendary troubadour, Bob Marley.

One love, one heart
Let’s get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (one love)
So shall it be in the end (one heart)
All right, give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right
Let’s get together and feel all right

We are all in His hands, after all.  As America’s founders proclaimed:

In God we trust.

All we really need now is love.
