How can one comment on such dismal predictions? Last night I was watching a program showing the year 2012 as the end of civilization as we know it and the Vultures getting ready to exploit the millions who believe it. People will believe anything if it is said loud enough, often enough and spread by the many facets of the media. Remember y2k? Jones town? Comet Kahoutek (sp.?) and didn’t the Republicans say that it was going to be the end of the World, as we know it, if the Health care bill was passed? There is no doubt that Humankind has set itself up for some hard times, but there is one thing for certain, we will all die, the rich and powerfull and the poor and powerless. So why worry? Shall not the God of the whole earth do right? (Gen. 18:25) Jesus said not to fret for it shall all come to pass as He has ordained. Read the Bible. We as Christians will be triumphant! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved. John 3:16. Billy G.

I thought AP was supposed to be a news outlet, this article seems to be spin to me, http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110126/ap_on_re_us/us_state_of_union_fact_check.

What do you think of the fact checkers facts?

I thought the same thing when I saw this in the local newspaper, Grace. I’ve noticed that AP is often extremely anti-Obama, and I wonder who is behind it. AP is supposed to be just a network for media to exchange news items through. But, increasingly, it has become a propaganda outlet for the right. I guess it’s another example of money talking – loud and clear.
