…………I’ll be silent while u tiny flies
surround me, in my hair—in my head:
at night as if I am dead,
Go away leave me be!
As I awake, while I sleep,
You keep buzzing around my face,
like bumble bees;
“Is it something I eat, those goody treats?”
“Or the plant, the fruits I may have eat?”
“Go away you—annoying pest!”
I wish to feel, healthy, glowing and free,
I’ll light a incense: I won’t scream!
“‘Gratitude— has made me,
not to be mean!”
