Reggae SumFest 2011

In a few short days, I’ll be returning to the island of Jamaica for the greatest reggae show on earth, Reggae SumFest! For over 18 years, Reggae SumFest has brough tens of thousands of international music lovers together for the best in reggae, dance hall and other international acts such as Jay Z, Destiny’s Child, Ciara, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and many more.  This year promises to bring more fiya with Nicki Minaj and R. Kelly headlining the International Nights and some of Jamaica’s favorites, Elephant Man, Beenie Man, Movado, Vybz Kartel, Christopher Martin and many more.

This time around, I’ll be staying at the beautiful Half Moon Resort, in Rose Hall, Montego Bay Jamaica. Their two miles of private white-sand beach, six signature restaurants and 68,000 square foot spa, Fern Tree, will be the perfect escape from the late night craziness that is Reggae SumFest. I can’t wait!
