I don’t agree with you. There is classism in the US. Among Whites, new White money does not mess well with old White money. Among Black Americans the same rules apply. Black rap artist or ball players will not be invited to join Links, Boules, and their children will not be welcomed in Jack and Jill or any old money Black groups; it really does not matter what kind of money you have. It is new money.
Most Americans can identify with Racism but no clue as to what Classism is.They also believe they are all Capitalist and poor people come from Third World countries.
